ANZAC DAY – Remembrance and Healing Meditation
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
We will remember them….
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations” and “the contribution and suffering of all those who have served”. Observed on 25 April each year, Anzac Day was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.
In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the first world war and their families and also to honour all those who dedicate their lives to our safety and protection, we are holding a free meditation session at 9:00 AM on Tuesday – 25th April 2017. Join us to meditate in remembrance and healing for families of those who protect us.
